Top pick: #1 (DRESS CODE) (2-1) - Old-timer races first off a re-claim by trainer Mike Puype and he had some success with this 10-time winner in the past. Stalker likes it here 7-2-1-2, has the rail, and should get a fast pace to track. Working fast for his first since April 4th and 8-year-old is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Bluegrass Reward) (5-2) - Gelding was a winner here at this distance on April 13th, then raced both wide and evenly last out when facing tougher on the grass. He has a fine local slate (9-3-2-0), always tries hard, and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Two Is to Many) (7-2) - Clearly the main speed, he makes his west coast appearance and does so off of some fine AM drills at Los Alamitos. Gelding has a new trainer (Paul Aguirre) and a good front end rider (Edwin Maldonado) aboard.
