Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (LOB CITY) (3-1) - Lightly-raced 4-year-old filly ships down from Golden Gate Fields where she raced evenly and wide in a pair of starts following her return from a 10 month layoff. Both came facing tougher on the Tapeta surface going around two-turns. Trainer Craig Dollase drops her in class, shortens her up in distance, and switches her to conventional dirt. Working well at Los Alamitos, she gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Warren's Purrfect) (2-1) - Mare runs best on real dirt and has finished second in five of nine on it. Strong finisher is working fast for her first since Dec 5 when she ran second at this tag going a mile at Los Alamitos. Warren home bred has been competitive in all four local appearances and is an obvious win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Ryderoo) (5-2) - Veteran maiden has finished fourth at this tag in both starts since returning from a 16.5 month layoff Jan 17. She's racing back into shape and must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #7 (S'more Funny Fever) (8-1) - Longshot was only beaten a bit over four lengths racing here at this tag Feb 14. By far a career best, it was her first race since May 16. Home bred is capable at a big price with just a small step forward.
