2nd pick: #6 (Say Ow) (9-2) - Bred for the grass gelding moves back to the infield, stretches out in distance, and comes off a "troubled" try in an "off the turf" contest on Jan. 26. Trainer Julio Canani has him working very fast for this attempt and 3-year-old is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #7 (Wild Student) (10-1) - Price play has raced evenly in all three grass attempts and trainer Paul Aguirre has him working nicely at Hollywood Park for his first since Jan. 12. Drops into a claimer and can impact at a square price.
4th pick: #9 (Gentleman Pete) (8-1) - He's improved overall since switching to the turf and and finished second at this level and distance at Hollywood on Dec. 16. Cal.-bred has been very wide in his last pair and can factor if he avoids that type of journey this afternoon.
