Top pick: #6 (GOMO) (6-5) - Daughter of 'Indian Charlie' is bred for the turf and like all others entered is trying a two-turn distance for the first time. Bet down to 9-5 favoritism here going 5-furlongs on the dirt June 4, she held down the show spot after being involved in a pace-duel through fast splits. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Rich Girl) (9-2) - One of two entered by trainer Vann Belvoir, she already has a pair of starts on her resume. Filly rallied to finish third last out going 4.5-furlongs on the dirt June 11. She's worked since, is brought back quickly, and Bejarano stays aboard.
3rd pick: #4 (My Mom) (12-1) - The second of the Belvoir pair, she's been beaten by 'Rich Girl' in both prior starts. The latest saw her race evenly while 3-lengths back of that barnmate. May grab a minor award at long odds.
4th pick: #7 (Joan of Arc) (6-1) - She raced evenly following a troubled break when debuting here in a dirt sprint May 21. Her outside post is of no help, but she's bred to handle the grass and may show more ability if away alertly.
