Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (SUAVEMENTE) (3-1) - Blinkers go on as speedy gelding races first off a claim. Trainer Bob Diodoro wins at a solid 24% first of the barn change and at 23% clip when adding blinkers. Working above average since the claim May 27 and 3-year-old gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Swiss Minister) (5-1) - Freshened up since April 17, he's racing first back of a pair of two-month breaks. Stalker is working fast at Los Alamitos and is dropping back down. The only other time he ran in a claimer, colt was a winner here Jan 22.
3rd pick: #5 (Nicaredalic Rocks) (4-1) - No-speed type rallied to finish fourth here at this tag and trip following a slow start here May 27. He'll need a fast and/or contested pace to help his stretch running style out. If that doesn't happen, a small slice is his ceiling.
4th pick: #3 (Fans On the Run) (5-2) - Lightly-raced grey gelding is racing off a seven week freshening after being claimed by Bill Spawr for $25,000 here May 8. New trainer wins at a 37% rate first off the clam and it's of note that Bejarano, who rarely rides for the veteran is aboard.
