She ran well at Del Mar when debuting Nov 20 and has had less than perfect trips in her last pair. Pegram home bred draws a nice outside post at this distance and gets the call.
2nd pick: #7 (Riddle Me) (8-1) - Long shot drops after tiring badly in her debut at Los Alamitos Dec 18. Trainer Bob Hess Jr. drops her into a claimer and removes her blinkers. Can factor at a big price.
3rd pick: #1 (Top Notch) (6-1) - She rallied to run second when debuting Sept 2 at Del Mar facing tougher. Away slowly in a follow up start here Sept 27, she's working well above average for her return. Drops, has the rail, and think she can factor.
4th pick: #3 (Tribal Thunder) (7-2) - Well backed in her debut, she lost all chance when filly had all sorts of problems at the start. She gets a rider up-grade from trainer Mike Puype and can't be eliminated.
