Top pick: #7 (MADRE LUNA) - Nice price play has been freshened-up since late Nov. when she finished sixth of 12, beaten 4 1/2 lengths racing at Hollywood at this level. Working very nicely for this, she ran an excellent third here at this tricky, "down the hill" 6.5 furlong trip. Daughter of "Rahy" can take this at a square price.
2nd pick: #3 (Jaredella) - Un-raced sinced May 1st, daughter of "Tapit" finished second at that time on the Hollywood "poly" racing at this level, and in her previous outing ran second on real dirt. Working nicely for her return, she'll be running on the grass for the first time. Contender, 4-year-old is one of two fillies entered by trainer John Sadler and the pair will race uncoupled.
3rd pick: #8 (Shoo Gee) - Her best start came when last March when she finished a pace-setting second here at this level and distance. Filly by "Forest Danger" tired badly just 15 days ago in her first start in 9 1/2 months, and is brought back quickly and switches from the dirt to the turf.
