Top pick: #3 (TASHA'S COURAGE) (2-1) - Gelding hasn't raced since a "troubled" debut at Del Mar when facing tougher in late July. A capable small barn (Janet Armstrong) has him working nicely for his return and she'll drop him way down and switch him from "poly" to real dirt.
2nd pick: #7 (Senor Pegasus) (5-2) - He raced evenly at this tag going 6-furlongs at Hollywood on Dec. 14 in his first back from a 2 1/2 month layoff. He just missed at Fairplex on real dirt on Sept. 7 and he's a win candidate this afternoon.
3rd pick: #1 (Soul Saver) (4-1) - Veteran maiden breaks from the rail for the third straight time and he has Pat Valenzuela aboard as he makes yet another comeback. This gelding is working fast here and had some promise earlier in his career.
4th pick: #4 (Perfectly Legal) (6-1) - Debuting colt has been working steadily at Hollywood since late October with most of the drills being of the stamina building type. He need not be anything special to factor against this group.
