Speedy filly was given a 7 week break at that time and finished third after pressing a fast pace at Hollywood at this price on Dec. 8. That should set her up perfectly for this and she's the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Backwood's Belle) - Claimed on Aug. 12 at Del mar by John Sadler for $40K, she was sent in for a freshening at that time and has not yet returned to that form after comin back in early Nov. She ran much better last out in her second back and looks set for her best.
3rd pick: #1 (Warren's Mad Dawg) - Un-raced since an impressive maiden win on the Fairplex dirt on Sept. 10, she's working well locally, draws the rail, and can factor at a nice price.
