Top pick: #7 (MARKET NOTES) (9-2) - Colt has been sharp in all five starts (1-2-2) and will be racing first off a Troy Taylor claim. Speedy sort has run well in both local appearances, draws a nice post, and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Echo Zulu) (5-2) - Hard-hitting type has gone 8-2-4-1 overall and has run second in both previous starts on real dirt. Speed/stalker should be involved from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #5 (Charisma Code) (6-1) - Recent maiden winner takes on winners and his win "figure" suggests that he can factor with a repeat of it. Strong finisher should get a solid pace to rally into and is a stretch threat.
4th pick: #8 (Rocked Twice) (4-1) - Arizona-bred looked good breaking her maiden at Hollywood on Dec. 8 and was claimed that day by John Sadler (25% with fresh claims). Stalker draws a nice outside slot and Bejarano gets aboard (31% for Sadler).
