Top pick: #7 (CANDY AND THUNDER) - Much improved of late, she broke her maiden here on the dirt going 6 furlongs on Feb. 24, then finished a strong second at this level going "down the hill" on the grass March 23rd. Trainer Doug O'Neill moves her back to the main-track and one-run type should get a nice pace set-up.
2nd pick: #3 (One Bad Texter) - Speed/stalker rallied to finish second at this level and distance here on March 11th, her first outing since late July at Del Mar. Race was her first on real dirt, and with any improvement at all, she's a win candidate.
3rd pick: #1 (Sweet Nectar) - Heavily bet in her debut, daughter of "Atticus" was a handy winner on March 4th racing for $40K and was claimed that afternoon by Vann Belvoir. He's worked her four times since and runs her where he can't lose her. Has the rail and is in the small win mix.
