Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #2 (FREDDIES DREAM) (5-2) - Consistent veteran finished second at this tag and trip Sept. 4 at Del Mar. Claimed that afternoon by Jeff Mullins, he brings him back in less than a month and 6-year-old has done well here (5-2-0-2) in the past. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Over Achiever) (7-2) - Speedy 6-year-old has the rail and is racing first off a Bill Morey claim. Gelding tired badly Aug. 17 at Del Mar for a $20K tag in what was his first race since March 9. He's worked four times locally this month and has won two of three on the main track here in the past.
3rd pick: #3 (Image of Joplin) (3-1) - Once a classier horse, he's been on the sidelines since March 30. Gelding is racing first off a Mick Ruis claim for $32K and returns for half that amount in this spot. Working well above average at San Luis Rey Downs and a threat if ready.
