2nd pick: #1 (Pitino) (9-5) - Lightly-raced colt sold for $950,000 as a 2yo in training in March of 2017. He finished second in a turf sprint at Del Mar Aug. 30 in his first since debuting Nov 11 of last year and is a win candidate from his ground-saving post.
3rd pick: #4 (Justin's Quest) (7-2) - Stretch out sprinter enters off a good 3rd place finish sprinting at Los Alamitos race Course Sep 6. His chances appear to hinge on whether Pleasant d'Oro' wants the lead. If not, this colt is dangerous on the front end.
