2nd pick: #7 (Tiz No Bluff) (5-2) - One of two entered by trainer Ron Ellis, colt by 'Tiznow' was away 'slowly' and finished almost 3.5 lengths behind 'Clickjab' last out. It was a useful debut, and it's noted he received some betting support. He's worked five times since and is dangerous with a 'clean' beginning.
3rd pick: #2 (D Day Dude) (4-1) - Colt rated and made a good bid before weakening to finish 6th of eight, beaten 10 lengths racing here in a one-mile grass contest Feb. 26th. It was his first since debuting in late May, is moving to the dirt, and racing with blinkers on. Home bred looks set for a competitive effort.
4th pick: #6 (Goldrusher) (15-1) - The second of the Ellis pair, colt was never involved when breaking slowly here at this level in a 6.5-furlong sprint March 12. He's worked fast since, and this $260,000 3yo by 'Mineshaft' should like this longer trip.
