He's working very fast, is in the Baffert Barn (26% first out with juveniles over the past 17 months), and he can take this with an alert break.
2nd pick: #2 (Diamond Majesty) (3-1) - Colt coast $224K in March and has some very sharp local works on his a.m. tab. In a capable barn (Pat Biancone), and jockey Elvis Trujillo (who is off to a fast start since coming to California) is aboard.
3rd pick: #3 (Sky Preacher) (2-1) - Heavily bet (3-10) in his debut, colt by "Sky Mesa" made a strong move turning for home, but was repulsed by a "much the best" winner while easily holding down the place spot. He's worked twice since, including a sharp local half-mile breeze six days ago.
4th pick: #1 (Rowdy Dylan) (6-1) - Another by "Sky Mesa," colt has an extensive work tab dating back to late March. He sold for $280K in March, is in an excellent first out barn (Pete Miller 20%), and should be involved from gate-to-wire with an alert getaway.
