2nd pick: #3 (Bench the Judge) - Stretch-out sprinter is (2-1-1-0) on this strip and the win came in the 2009 edition of the the $100K Cal Cup Juvenile stakes. Not the same animal now, but he still has early speed and this race is a bit light on pace. Can factor at a square price.
3rd pick: #1 (Brady Blue Eyes) - Gelding by "Sky Mesa" is training well locally for his first start since Nov. 10 when he tired after chasing the pace in a turf sprint at Hollywood Park. Has the rail and should be involved from start to finish.
