2nd pick: #3 (Send Me a Sign) (2-1) - Lightly raced filly has been freshened up since Nov. 5th. She's moving back to the dirt and is working sharply for her return. Stretch runner is an obvious win candidate and may be the favorite.
3rd pick: #1 (Longstocking) (5-1) - She's stretching out in distance in her second back off an 11 1/2 month layoff. Filly raced evenly in her return sprinting at Los Alamitos Dec. 10th. She's worked above average since and draws the rail.
4th pick: #7 (Caradini) (4-1) - Another that's stretching out, she's racing third off almost an eight-month absence. Working above average, and she's bred to like this trip.
