2nd pick: #4 (Red Valor) (9-2) - 4yo made up some ground while wide to finish fourth a bit over a length in back of "Concord Jet' Jan. 19. Well bred gelding was a sharp maiden winner in his previous start at Los Alamitos Dec. 12 and is a threat at a square price.
3rd pick: #1 (Temple Knights) (5-2) - He had a good trip and a favorable pace set up when he rallied to miss by a 1/2 length Jan. 19. 5yo was a 'neck' better than 'Concord Jet' and 1.5 lengths in front of 'Red Valor'.
4th pick: #5 (Polity) (5-1) - On the sidelines since Aug. 3, he has some speed bu tired in all three starts last year after returning from an 11-month layoff June 15. He worked fast Feb. 6 and it's noted that Raf Bejarano takes the mount.
