Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (LOVE A HONEYBADGER) (4-1) - This very lightly raced 4yo filly tired after setting a quick and pressured pace here March 18. It was a useful effort and came first back from a very long layoff (19.5 months). She most likely needed the start, has worked fast since, and will be tough on the front end today.
2nd pick: #6 (Red Stich) (5-2) - Consistent mare raced evenly when finishing 3rd here March 15 and was 4.5 lengths ahead of 'Love a Honeybadger.' She's making back-to-back starts for the first time since the Fall and most all her best efforts have come here (10-2-2-4).
3rd pick: #4 (Lucky Student) (3-1) - Veteran mare is shortening up after tiring to check in 4th here at this level going a mile Feb. 24. 8yo has been competitive in all four starts since returning from a 17-month layoff Dec. 14, and this old timer loves it local (16-6-5-1).
4th pick: #2 (Princess Dorian) (6-1) - She won here facing weaker going seven furlongs March 11. It was her second following a Red Saldana claim, and she's capable of getting a share at a square price today.
