Top pick: #5 (FIRE WISE) - Well bet in her debut racing for $80K at Del Mar August 19, filly raced close up while wide and weakened down the stretch. Trainer Tim Yakteen drops her down from $80,000 to $30K and will remove her blinkers this afternoon. Daughter of first crop sire "Corinthian" is working very fast locally fpr this attempt and can take this at a nice price.
2nd pick: #7 (Playing Dirty) - Filly chased a fast pace while between horses after breaking from a tough outside post when debuting at Del Mar on August 31. Claimed that day by Dean Peterson for $32K, she's working fast and barn wins at a 27% clip fresh off the claim.
3rd pick: #10 (Lady Aargorn) - She's worked three time here in the past 25 days and all of the drils are very fast. Freshened-up since late August by trainer Kathy Walsh and this filly hinted at some ability at Del Mar at that time. Win candidate.
