Top pick: #4 (YES SHE'S A DANCER) (7-2) - Speed/stalker takes a big drop in class in her third off a 7-week freshening. Daughter of "Yes It's True" meets a weak looking group and should break her maiden in this spot.
nd pick: #7 (Holy Ascension) (5-1) - Lightly-raced filly by "Rockport Harbor" also has a bit of speed and is taking the same drop as out top pick. Home bred should be competitive and involved every step.
rd pick: #11 (Forest Trees) (4-1) - Debuting filly is well bred, working above average, and trainer Pete Miller wins at a 20% rate first out. She need not me much to factor against this group.
th pick: #12 (Lamist) (5-1) - She raced evenly last out facing tougher in her first start with blinkers. Filly takes a drop in class but draws a tough outside post. Can factor with an alert getaway.
th pick: #5 (Honey in Paradise) (12-1) - Lightly-raced filly chased and held down the place spot on Sept. 19 at this tag running at Los Alamitos. The figure earned was small and this Louisiana bred needs to do better for anything more than a minor award.
