3rd pick: #1 (Sixes) (7-2) - Lightly-raced 4-year-old chased and held down the place spot in the same Sept. 24 contest at Los Alamitos that saw 'Clifton Beach' lose is rider at the break. It was his second back off a pair of long layoffs and is first ever in a claimer. Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #7 (Royal Seeker) (5-1) - He raced evenly when checking in a distant third four lengths in back of 'Sixes' Sept. 24. State bred was racing off an 8.5 month layoff and may have needed the start. Can grab a share with a bit of improvement.
