Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (GOLDEN ATLANTIC) (5-2) - He showed excellent early before tiring late when debuting Sept. 7th at Del Mar in a five-furlong grass sprint. He's worked fast twice here on the main track since then and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (George Zip) (2-1) - The morning line favorite, gelding by 'City Zip' exits the same turf sprint as 'Golden Atlantic.' He chased while wide and was 6 1/2 back of that rival at the finish. Well backed that day, he's worked twice since, and is moving to the dirt. It's a plus that Bejarano is back on the re-ride.
3rd pick: #2 (Power of Hope) (3-1) - Freshened up since Aug. 20th, he was bet in both starts at the Del Mar meet, but broke slowly in each. Working fast, and he's a major player if able to break with his field.
4th pick: #1 (Ketchum) (8-1) - Unraced since his debut at Emerald Downs June 1 of 2014, he's working nicely, and runs off a private trainer change to John Sadler. May grab a share at a square price.
