Top pick: #8 (MIKEY T) (5-2) - Gelding has been freshened up since finishing second on the Del Mar "poly" racing for a $40K tag. Nice effort came first off an O'Neill claim, and 4yo by "Street Sense" is working fast for this.
2nd pick: #5 (Ella's Kitten) (8-1) - Price play showed nothing in his local debut on Sept. 27th, but he had a wide trip after breaking from a tough outside post. Barn brings him back quickly, and he draws a much better post today.
3rd pick: #6 (Tenkiller Kid) (6-1) - He's from the same barn (Doug O'Neill) as "Mikey" and has some fine early speed to offer. Gelding runs off a three month layoff, is working well, and will be trying the grass for the first time.
4th pick: #3 (Cervaro) (8-5) - Lightly raced and well-bred, he's improving, and is racing third back off a seven month break. Stretch threat is from a winning barn (John Sadler), and has Bejarano aboard for the first time.
