Top pick: #3 (TIZ LOVELY) - Daughter of "Tiznow" looms the main speed and comes off a very "troubled" trip at this level Sept. 3 at Del Mar. Filly finished second in her previous outing and can take this average group from gate to wire.
2nd pick: #4 (Lady Shazzam) - Lightly raced and improving, home-bred was a bit "rank" in her last pair and ran evenly in each. Working fine locally and triner John Sadler will run her on conventional dirt for the first time.
3rd pick: #6 (Yodelin Angel) - Daughter of "Swiss Yodeler" has previous real dirt experience when she finished second, beaten a length racing for $25K at Pleasanton on July 4th. 3-year-old has been competitive in all six starts since her debut and I expect her to be so again this afternoon.
