Top pick: #5 (GOSOFAR) (3-1) - All but one of these 2-year-olds are making their debuts. This colt was purchased for $100,000 at a 2-year-old in training sale this past March. Working steadily for a 20% first out barn (Adam Kitchingman) and colt had a near bullet half-mile breeze from the gate here on May 2nd.
2nd pick: #6 (Annie's Candy) (5-2) - He sold for $105K at the same sale as 'Gosofar.' Colt has nine published works at San Luis Rey Downs and had a near bullet half-mile gate breeze there April 18th. Barn (Pete Miller) is capable first out (16% )and a good speed rider is aboard (Edwin Maldanado) is aboard.
3rd pick: #2 (Known Defence) (3-1) - He's one of two entered by trainer John Brocklebank and has out-worked his barn mate several times. His last two drills are very fast and he must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #7 (Rickles) (6-1) - Colt is by a good 2-year-old sire 'Bushwacker" and he has some better than average works on view. May grab a share at a square price.
