Top pick: #6 (TIMELESS INDY) (8-5) - He enters in career best form. Veteran has gone 5-2-1-1 here since mif-February and last out rallied to finish second here facing a bit tougher. Five-year-old by 'A.P. Indy' draws a nice outside post, a recent work, and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Bob Consultation) (5-2) - Speedy sort has the rail and is racing first off a Kelly Castenada claim ( a 24% winning angle). He's finished second in two straight and was only a 1/2 length back of 'Timeless Indy' March 21. He should be involved from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #5 (Trelawny) (3-1) - An 11-time winner, he's dropping in class, switching from turf to dirt, and shortening up in distance. He only has one previous score on real dirt, but is dipping to a new low and had a bullet half-mile work at San Luis Rey Downs May 2nd.
4th pick: #3 (Luca) (8-1) - "Luca" is racing for the first time since late Sept. He has fine early speed, is dropping to a new low, and is a threat on the front end if ready with his best.
