3rd pick: #6 (Carulli) (3-1) - On the sidelines since June 20, gelding is working steadily at San Luis Rey Downs for his return. Well backed in his first two starts back then, he was away very 'slowly' in each. Can factor if ready with an alert beginning.
4th pick: #8 (Attack) (10-1) - Longshot is the field's most experienced maiden and is stretching out in distance. Even paced type has grabbed seven small slices in 17 starts and is a factor, especially if the speed doesn't hold turning for home.
