Top pick: #2 (SILK IN SILVER) (9-5) - Lightly-raced filly was heavily favored last out racing at this tag but she "stumbled" badly at the break and checked in an even third of 6, beaten six lengths. She's worked twice since, is the main speed, retains Bejarano, and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #1 (Kid Rollins) (2-1) - The main danger, lightly raced 4-year-old stretches out in distance after rallying to finish third in a pair here at this level going 6.5-furlongs. She has the rail, gets some weight off, and is a win threat.
3rd pick: #4 (Puligny) (4-1) - Irish import showed nothing here when finishing last in a six horse field of special weights racing a mile on the grass Feb. 7. That was her first in this country and first since late Oct. Lasix is added, she drops in class, and will be running on real dirt for the first time.
4th pick: #5 (Bully's Magic Girl) (8-1) - Home-bred stretches out in distance after an even effort when debuting here at this price-tag going 6.5-furlongs on Feb. 15. She was six in back of "Rollins" that day but should narrow that gap at this longer trip.
