2nd pick: #5 (Jeanjeannie) (3-1) - Daughter of 'Shackleford' is shortening up in distance in her first off a private trainer change to the New York based barn of Dave Jacobson. Filly has finished second in tow of her last three going longer and is a stretch threat.
3rd pick: #9 (Bella Be Quick) (4-1) - Blinkers go on for her second attempt. She raced both wide and evenly when debuting at this level and distance Dec 15 at Los Alamitos. From a good barn (Phil D'Amato) and he's gone 11-3-2-3 at this young meet.
4th pick: #7 (Lofty Cause) (7-2) - Speedy filly drops in class after tiring Dec. 9 at Los Alamitos racing for a $50K tag facing fellow Calif. breds. She should be involved from start-to-finish.
