Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #10 (GALLANTLYSTREAMING) (3-1) - This Irish import has some early speed and has been competitive in two of three facing tougher. Freshened up since Dec. 30, she's dropping into a claimer for trainer John Sadler, who is having a very good meet (62-16-14-10).
2nd pick: #6 (Sapori Girl) (4-1) - A $190K daughter of turf sire 'Mizzen Mast,' she raced evenly debuting here at a mile facing tougher Jan. 21. Down in class and shortening up in distance today, she should factor in this softer spot.
3rd pick: #3 (A Dime for Me) (6-1) - This filly moves up in price and is switching from dirt to grass. Cal bred has fine early speed and has finished 2nd in two of three to date. I think she'll be involved every step at a square price.
4th pick: #1 (Queen of the Track) (6-1) - The field's most experienced filly, she has early speed and finished 3rd going a mile in her only previous start on the grass. She can factor, but this 3yo needs to do better during the stretch run.
