Top pick: #5 (EXPLICABLE) (5-2) - Daughter of 'Pioneer of the Nile" is training sharply here for her first since debuting at Del Mar in early August. She 'bobbled' at the break that day but recovered to finish third of eight, beaten two lengths. $120K yearling took some betting action that day and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (Enchanted Fortune) (3-1) - The fields most experienced maiden, she's cutting back in distance after tiring to finish a distant third here going a mile on Jan. 9th. It was a career best and trainer Bob Baffert has worked her four times since.
3rd pick: #4 (Vivacious Beauty) (4-1) - Filly has been on the sidelines since finishing a pace-chasing fourth in late July of 2013 at Del Mar. She's worked six times here since Jan. 6th so she should be fit and ready.
4th pick: #6 (Feel the Charge) (7-2) - One of two making their debuts, filly by 'Mr. Greeley' has been in steady training here since Dec. 18th. 4yo worked this distance in 1:12 flat on Jan. 22nd and home bred should factor if she can repeat that time under race conditions.
