Last out she traked a fast pace, bid to the front, and gave way grudingly to miss by a 1/2 length while 9 lengths clear of the third horse racing at this tag and trip Jan. 19. She's since come back with a quick 1/2 mile breeze Jan. 31 and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #5 (Pastoria) - Lightly-raced and speedy, she set a pressured pace and held to finish second here at this tag on Jan. 11. Race was only her second back off a year's layoff and 4-year-old should be involved from start-to-finish.
3rd pick: #6 (Daze) - Fiil hasn't raced since late April, but was competitive in her first two starts at that time. Home-bred drops down in her return and is working nicely for trainer Carla Gaines. Win candidate if ready.
4th pick: #3 (Hello Stormy) - She exits the same last race as "Spacecoast" and tired to finsh a distant fourth after setting a pressured pace. She'd been sharp in her previous three tries and should be a square price this afternoon.
