He received a poor ride in a small field while checking in a troubled third. Can take this with a better journey.
2nd pick: #1 (Papasquiaro) (8-1) - Mexican import goes from turf to dirt and is racing with blinkers on for the first time. One-run type has raced evenly in most of his starts and several came facing much more accomplished fields than this at Remington Park. Has a solid shot at a big price.
3rd pick: #2 (Too Much Silver) (10-1) - Very lightly-raced, he tired badly after setting a pressured pace in the same last race as 'Origami Downtown.' It was his first since debuting last June at Lone Star Park. Bred for speed, grey gelding by 'Too Much Bling' has taken betting action in both outings.
4th pick: #3 (Major Council) (2-1) - He's listed as the favorite based on a solid second place finish here Feb 6. By far a career best, he's never approached it in his ten other starts. Very dangerous if it's repeatable.
