Top pick: #3 (LEGITIMATE CAT) (7-2) - Colt chased and held to finish second here at this level and distance Feb. 20. It was a nice improvement over his debut and it's noted that he's ben bet down to 2-1 in both starts. Can take this with minimal improvement.
nd pick: #9 (Peonari) (8-1) - Freshened up for the past 100 days, he's working well for his return and showed good speed in both starts when last in action. Can be involved from start-to-finish if ready.
rd pick: #11 (Korus Storm) (4-1) - Son of "War Chant" chased while wide and held to finish second of 12, beaten 1 1/2 lengths when debuting here at this level in a one mile grass race Jan. 27. Freshened up since, he's moving to the dirt and shortening up in distance. In the mix.
th pick: #13 (Blissfully Even) (12-1) - Well bred colt has raced evenly in his first pair and they came six months apart. He's making back-to-back starts for the first time and can factor at a big price.
th pick: #14 (Duck Blind) (8-1) - Lasix is added and gelding is racing for the first time since Nov. 5. Needs to try and get involved early as he's trying a sprint distance for the first time.
