Top pick: #3 (POLICE CHATTER) - Lightly raced, well-bred, expensive ($125K), and he's showing steady improvement. Son of "Tale of the Cat" just missed at Belmont July 4th going 7/8ths in his first ever on the turf.He has excellent early speed, a fast work on the 15th, and trainer Phil Serpe put over a "bomb" yesterday. No bomb here, but the top pick.

2nd pick: #1 (Capital Market) - Steady 4yo by "Indian Charlie" has finished 2nd in three of four starts at this level on the grass. Stalker comes off a two month break, is working fine, and gets the addition of blinkers. Contender, he's couple in the wagering with #1a Liston.

3rd pick: #9 (Clear Attempt) - Beautifully-bred 3yo tackles winners for the first time after getting his maiden win at Belmont June 15. Son of "A.P.Indy" has improved noticeably since switching to the grass and is a factor in this spot.

4th pick: #6 (Tahoe Lake) - Very lightly raced 5yo Brazilian-bred comes here from Churchill Downs where he's just missed in two tries at this level. Has a good late kick, is in a good barn (Ken McPeek), and is a threat down the stretch.
