Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (HONEYGIRL HIT) (5-1) - Bred/owned/and trained by Clyde Trout, filly was a good looking maiden winner here going 6 furlongs Aug. 28. Only her 2nd start, it was her first since finishing second here when debuting a year earlier. She worked fast Sept. 12 and believe this one has a bright future facing fellow state breds.
nd pick: #9 (Brew Casa) (7-2) - She tired after being bumped and having a wide trip finishing a distant 4th here going a mile on a sloppy surface at this level Sept. 12. It was her first off a Karl Broberg claim and her second back from a nine month layoff. She's cutting back in distance, draws well, and is dangerous.
rd pick: #6 (Bright Bling) (9-2) - One of two entered by Francisco Bravo and the pair race uncoupled. Speedy home bred finished third here at this level Aug. 31 and should be involved from gate-to-wire.
th pick: #3 (Flatoutcountry) (6-1) - She finished a pace-setting second here at this level going a mile Sept. 12 and was 7 length in front of a troubled 'Brew Casa'. It was her first since May 17 and it's noted this state bred defeated 'open' company in her maiden win April 27 at Oaklawn Park.
th pick: #5 (Keena) (3-1) - The second of the fillies from the barn of Francisco Bravo, she's finished second in five of six starts at this level. Even-paced type should factor again, but she needs to better in the final furlong.
