2nd pick: #2 (Nothingbutdaylight) (10-1) - Longshot is another trying the grass for the first time. 3-year-old finished within range in his first pair on the dirt and is bred to like the turf. To go along with the surface switch, trainer Jerry Caldwell is adding blinkers.
3rd pick: #8 (Wise Up) (6-1) - He tired here at this level going 7.5 furlongs Sept. 28. It was a useful effort and came in his third back from a nine month layoff. Can impact with a bit of improvement.
4th pick: #11 (Strikerwillsackya) (10-1) - Lightly-raced 3-year-old moves up in class and switches from dirt to turf. Competitive in both starts on dirt, he's bred to handle the surface switch. However, he must avoid a wide trip in this abbreviated sprint from his marooned post.
5th pick: #5 (Since Forever) (3-1) - Kentucky invader has been competitive in two of three previous starts on the grass facing tougher. Speedy sort should be involved most of the way, but is no bargain at a short price.
