Top pick: #6 (BONNIE PARKER) - Daughter of "Aptitude" has been sharp (2-0-1-1) without winning in both grass appearances and moves back to the local lawn after tiring badly last out on a sloppy track in the $250K Remington Park Oaks. Speed/stalker gets the call in a wide open contest.
2nd pick: #1 (Pretty Charming) - Price play chased and tired at this level here on Oct. 24 in her first since a sharp maiden win at Louisiana Downs on June 2nd. Lightly-raced filly moves to the rail and is a win candidate in her second off almost a 5 month break.
3rd pick: #10 (Songs and Sonnets) - Grey daughter of "Unbridled's Song" showed a lot of promise as a 2-year-old in 2011, but went in for an eight month break beginning last October. She ran rather poorly in her return at Arlington June 16th and it's not a plus that she's been on the sidelines for another five months. That said, she's working fast for this and is in the dangerous barn of Donnie Von Hemel.
4th pick: #5 (Okie Nova) - She's clearly improved since switching to the turf and last out finished third in the $112k Oklahoma Distaff Turf Stakes on Oct. 19. She moves in with tougher "open" company this evening, but can impact with her best.
