Top pick: #2 (ENTRY of 2-CANTCATCHTHEGROOM & 2b-CORPORAL CREW US) (6-1) - Price play as trainer Tim Hamm sends out this well bred entry. Each has racing experience and both have taken heavy betting action in their starts. Hamm's barn has not been as sharp as it was here last year, but believe he's about to go on a bit of a roll.
2nd pick: #3 (Invisible) (9-2) - The field's most experienced 2yo, he's gone 4-0-2-2 since beginning his career on June 1, and this colt has early speed and breaks from the rail. Son of "Invisible Ink" should be involved every step.
3rd pick: #6 (Duff) (7-2) - The possible favorite, colt rallied to finish second of nine, beaten three lengths when debuting here on June 1. Working well since and trainer Ron Potts, Jr. is having a career best meet (36-10-4-8). An obvious threat.
4th pick: #10 (Wolftrap) (4-1) - He exits a career best start when he rallied strongly to finish second here on June 25. It was his first on a "poly" surface and he was three clear of "Invisible" that afternoon. His lack of early speed and outside post hurts his win chances a bit.
