Top pick: #5 (OH YES SHE DID) (2-1) - Consistent (8-2-2-2) grey filly by "Cuvee" was an impressive winner here at this tag and distance on May 30th to clear the 2l condition. Win was by far a career best and came in her second back from a seven week freshening. Speed/stalker draws a nice outside post in this very small field and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #3 (Laila Dundee) (8-5) - Pimlico shipper is racing third back off a five month break and it's nice to see trainer Jonathan Sheppard string her starts together. Filly broke her maiden here a year ago and drops to a new low in price this evening. The trainer (Sheppard and jockey (Pino) team is a very strong one with 22 wins out of 45 starters over the past 18 months.
3rd pick: #2 (It's My Turn) (5-2) - Lightly-raced 6-year-old runs second off a pair of layoffs and will be racing in a claimer for the first time. She tired badly last out facing allowance foes and trainer Tim Hamm has worked her fast twice since.
