2nd pick: #7 (Shylock) (10-1) - Long time maiden stretches back out after an even effort here going 6.5-furlongs at this tag Sept. 9. He's been competitive in all three starts here when racing around two-turns. Has a shot at a square price.
3rd pick: #3 (Diamond Blue) (5-2) - No-speed type rallied strongly to finish second here Sep 21. He was just under a length better than 'Jacob Marley' that day and he must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #9 (Sequana) (6-1) - Gelding ships back after three starts out of town. Even paced type was competitive here earlier in the meet facing tougher and is dropping into a claimer for the first time. A strong factor if able to avoid a wide trip from this post.
