Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (SALSA DOG) (4-1) - Finger Lakes invader broke slowly and tired after rushing up facing much tougher on the dirt May 10. Stalker is racing third back from a bit more than 4.5 month layoff and is dropping in class and racing on a synthetic surface for the first time. Gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #1 (Midnight Lovin) (2-1) - Pimlico shipper tired late to finish third there going six furlongs on a sloppy track May 13. He had some promise and talent early in his career but has regressed since. In a winning barn (Dale Capuano) he has this colt racing on a 'poly' surface for the first time. It's of note that last ear's leading rider here (Tony Gallardo) is aboard.
3rd pick: #3 (Fairytale Finish) (5-1) - Lightly-raced colt is another racing on a synthetic surface for the first time. He has speed, has been competitive on both dirt and turf and is a win candidate.
