Top pick: #1 (ORDINATION) (7-2) - Stretch-out sprinter has run strongly in the past after a similar set up. 10-year-old gelding was only beaten a bit over 2-lengths sprinting here May 18. It was his first start in eight months and he had the 12-post in the 6-furlong contest. Old timer has the rail and seems set for a big race.
2nd pick: #3 (Alajwad Dancer) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he has plenty of back class and ran third here at this distance facing tougher June 4. It was his first in just under 100-days and ran his local record to 9-3-2-1. An obvious win candidate and I could have easily made him the top pick.
3rd pick: #4 (Quite the Face) (3-1) - Another that's stretching out, he was beaten a 'neck' here at this level going 6.5-furlongs June 11. It was his best overall since last Sept. when the 2014 meet ended here. Gelding doesn't win very often (3 for 35) but has some back class and generally brings his best on this surface.
