Top pick: #7 (AWED) (7-2) - Lightly raced and well-bred, he ships up from Keeneland in shape for trainer Jonathan Sheppard. Gelding goes turf to "poly," is working well locally, and he should get a solid pace to rally into.
2nd pick: #5 (L G's Little Man) (10-1) - Longshot has plenty of speed, and will be facing winners and trying a "poly" surface, both for the first time. Lightly raced, still improving, and a win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Inherently) (10-1) - He won his debut at Turfway on Jan. 18, then tired while very wide in a follow up start two weeks later. On the sidelines since, and he's working fast at Turfway Park for his return. In the mix.
4th pick: #1 (Wenaha) (8-1) - Part of a Sipp trained entry, gelding chased and tired to finish third last out at Mountaineer in his first start in seven and a half months. He likes this surface (4-1-2-0) and can factor at a big price.
