Top pick: #4 (TRIPPYDOODLE) (3-1) - She's racing back into shape after coming back from almost a 7-month layoff in late May. All of her success has been here (16-2-6-0), and filly missed by a 'neck' facing tougher May 17. Drops and looks all set to clear this 3l condition.
2nd pick: #6 (La Reine Bourbon) (9-2) - She's dropping way down in class for the first time. Once classier type ships in from Thistledown where she tired to finish fourth in an entry-level allowance May 9. It was her first off a pair of layoffs, and she's making back-to-back starts for the first time since last fall. Very dangerous.
3rd pick: #5 (Sara Rocks) (5-1) - One of two 3yos that are taking on much more seasoned older rivals. A stakes winner last year at Charles Town, she's making her first start ever on a synthetic surface. Fits with her best, but Maryland bred enters off a pair of very poor efforts on the Pimlico dirt.
4th pick: #3 (Cognac Cutie) (4-1) - The field's other sophomore, she rallied after a slow start to finish 2 1/2 lengths back of 'Trippydoodle' May 17. Good effort was her first on a 'poly' surface and came after a pair of back-to-back wins in Florida racing on real dirt.
