Top pick: #2 (EDDIE SET GO) (2-1) - 'Eddie' just missed here (a 'neck') racing at this level and distance May 27. It was his first since Jan. 17th at Tampa and reaffirmed his liking for the local all weather surface. Now 23-5-7-4 at Presque Isle during his long career, stalker is brought back quickly and looks all set in this spot.
2nd pick: #3 (Fleet Boat) (3-1) - All of his success has come on synthetic surface (26-8-3-4) and this old timer is 20-5-2-4 locally. He rallied last out to finish third, and was a length off of 'Eddie' on the wire. No speed type is racing back into shape following a 6-month layoff and had a nice record here last year (8-3-0-2). Win threat from off the pace.
3rd pick: #5 (Abra) (6-1) - Once classier type was scratched out of a race here last week. Speedy sort hasn't been the same horse since coming back from a pair of layoffs last November in New York. This is his first on a 'poly' surface and he worked very fast here May 27.
4th pick: #6 (Evil Doer) (2-1) - He defeated both 'Eddie' & 'Fleet Boat' last out in his first race since early October. It's noted he also won his 2014 return start here but saw his form go sour a bit in his next few starts. However, he's another who loves it here (24-7-6-3) and must be left in the mix.
