2nd pick: #12 (Summer Cove) (5-2) - Monmouth shipper is racing second back off almost an eight month break and is trying a synthetic surface for the first time. He has by far the best figures and only his far outside post prevented me from baking him a strong to pick.
3rd pick: #6 (I Chant for Dan) (5-1) - Another that's lightly-raced and well bred, he's dropping in class and stretching out after an even effort here facing tougher going 6.5-furlongs June 11. Three-year-old by 'War Chant' seems set for a competitive run.
4th pick: #7 (Sorocaima) (3-1) - He's finished second here in two straight at this tag, one each going 6.5-furlongs and a mile. One-run type is a threat, but may be over-bet in a contest with several big drop downs.
5th pick: #2 (Sage Master) (7-2) - Home bred is racing for the first time since early March and first time in a claimer. Breeder/owner/trainer Del Loveland has him spotted where he should contend off a big drop in class.
