Top pick: #5 (TRAVEL TRUE) (2-1) - Field has four first-time-starters and this colt is bred to be a good one. Home bred by 'Arch' has some sharp works on view, including a quick half-mile gate breeze at Delaware park May 9. Looks well prepared by trainer Jonathan Sheppard.
2nd pick: #2 (O Wow) (6-1) - A long time maiden, he ships in from Thistledown where he showed nothing in a dirt sprint May 1st. It was his first since late Sept. and this 5-year-old has done all of his best racing here at Presque Isle 14-0-2-5. Working fine off site and can factor at a square price if ready.
3rd pick: #6 (Builtforthegirls) (5-1) - One of two entered by trainer Randy Russell and the pair race uncoupled. Grey gelding rallied from far back to finish second on the Mountaineer dirt debuting in early Oct. He took some money that day and did not have a clean break. Moves up in class, but has a pair of fine local works showing.
4th pick: #3 (Silver) (3-1) - The second of the Russell pair, he's a debuting 4-year-old by a decent sire ('Good Reward'). He originally was in training at Golden Gate Fields in Northern California, but has a pair of local drills on view since shipping east.
