Top pick: #4 (Adjournment) (2-1) - He's been on the sidelines since late Dec when he tired at this level going 7 furlongs on the Tampa bay dirt. He has back class and will be racing on this surface for the first time since 2011. Gelding has won here in the past and has been working both steadily and on the quick side at Thistledown.
2nd pick: #1 (Mr Topia) (10-1) - He ships from Finger Lakes where he set the pace a solid pace and tired to finish 4th on April 29th. Positive effort came in his 2nd off a 4 month layoff and a top barn (Chris Englehart) runs him on a synthetic surface for the first time.
3rd pick: #5 (Murdock) (9-2) - Well-bred colt stretches out for the first time after a gate-to-wire win sprinting at Thistledown for a $4K tag on may 4th as he cleared the 2l condition. Win came off a 7 month layoff and he's dangerous in this spot.
4th pick: #2 (I'm Just Good) (4-1) - Lightly raced Michigan-bred runs 2nd back from a 7 month layoff and will be dropping into a claimer, trying a two-turn distance, and running on a "poly" surface, all for the first time. He was a stakes winner last Sep facing fellow stste-breds at Mount Pleasant Meadows and may grab a share with all the changes.
